We took Grace to Louisville today to have a sedated MRI. Two weeks ago her Pediatric Ophthalmologist Diagnosed her with Nystagmas, which is involuntary movement of the eye, however her vision was great. She ordered the MRI because her vision was so good, and she was having so many vestibular and balance issues. She just wanted to rule out something organic being wrong, because even with the years of therapy to help her with these issues, she is still struggling. She was so brave at the clinic. Gracie tends to get very anxious over the unknown. So we decided not to tell her what was going on until she got there. She was so calm in this pic they had giving her the happy medicine to drink that makes her a little silly. She had the iv in and in no time she was gone for the scan. It went well. She was back and we are happy to report that there is nothing wrong either congenitally or organiclly with her brian. The Drs. are contributing her issues to her neglect she suffered before being placed in care. We are so thankful to have some answeres to our questions of the last 2.5 yrs and that is nothing morelife threatening.
