Every child who comes into foster care in our home we take to make a build a bear. Some come with nothing! We want them if, and when, they leave to have something to take with them they can cuddle with. We finally got a chance to take the girls to Nashville to make their very own bear. We had a great time. Ella Kate made a purple hippo she named POP because that was one of her only words at the time. Gracie made a puppy dog she named POOH. To funny! Anna Beth has a bear that was already named PATCHES. Her bear is a very special bear. Not only does it comfort her, but she was designed to help all kids who are stricken with childhood disease. Part of the profits from PATCHES goes to help those who research, disagnose and treat childhood diseases. The girls never leave for an overnight anywhere without their loveys.
